Course Information
Come join us for a summer music spectacular that combines movement, keyboarding, integrative arts, and set design! Designed for movers and shakers, we will embark on an adventure of epic proportions, exploring the enchanted world of Edvard Grieg’s musical fairy tale, Peer Gynt. Through kinesthetic learning, active listening, improvisation, and the spirit of play, participants will design their own choreography and sets while exploring and developing valuable chamber music, stage, and musicianship skills. The week will culminate with the students’ very own creation of “The Enchanted Forest: A Musical Fairy Tale.”

Magical Movie Music!

Course Information
Join us as we explore the history of music and music genres through movies! Students will view movie clips and listen to musical examples discovering genre through the decades. Students will also learn to play simple movie themes on the piano as they study famous composers and the movie themes they wrote. Students will wow their families and friends with their new knowledge of movie music and gain a comprehensive understanding of the history of music, providing context for further instrument study.

String Enrichment Camp

Price: $175
This camp is offered to violin, viola, cello, and bass students with one year or more of string training. String students will explore the many aspects of becoming a complete musician, and the week will end in a small performance. Students will participate in the following classes daily:

- Sectional and Group Lessons
- Full Ensemble Rehearsal

Bring it to Broadway, Movie Musicals
July 28 – August 3, 2013

Price: $320
Join Broadway stars Justin Greer (The Producers, Shrek, Anything Goes, Batboy) and Lauren Pastorek (The Producers, Marvelous Wonderettes, Will Roger’s Follies) for a week-long experience in learning scenes, solos, ensembles and choreography from some of the amazing musicals that made it to the silver screen! This week ends in a final performance for the public. No dance experience necessary, but special classes will be offered for dancers and singers. Private lessons with artists available as well.

Join Lauren Pastorek as she leads a very positive master class for adults looking to expand their horizons in performing. Participants are asked to prepare two musical theatre song selections by memory. Accompanist will be provided. This is a class for all levels, and priceless advice about casting and the musical theatre business is given. Come and enrich your development and place in the musical theatre community! Limit 8 students.
Dance
Join Justin Greer as he brings together our adults in a very positive master class that will focus on skills and choreography. This class will truly help adults find their movement in theatre and shows. Participants are asked to wear comfortable dance clothing and bring jazz shoes. This is a class for all levels, and priceless advice about casting and the musical theatre business is given. Come and enrich your development and place in the musical theatre community! The more the merrier!
**Possibility of Adult Dance Performance being included in final Bring it to Broadway show!
