Performers

We at Dana Vachharajani Music (DVM) believe that music is meant be shared. Accordingly, we encourage our students and staff to perform when the opportunity presents itself and to create new performance opportunites. Below you will find the actively performing DVM staff and youth musical ensembles.

The Bhatnagar Sisters (Vocal Duo)

Dana Vachharajani (formerly Dana Bhatnagar), soprano, and Geeta Novotny (formerly Geeta Bhatnagar), mezzo-soprano, form the Bhatnagar Sisters Vocal Duo. The sisters formed their duo to share their passion for the vocal duet repertoire. Their unique timbres, interpretation of song, and family bond combine to showcase the beauty of this artform. The sisters have communicated these styles in recitals, opera, and orchestral performances. In 2003 the duo won the Young Artist Peninsula Music Festival Competition in Palos Verdes, California. The sisters have also performed together in Carnegie Hall and for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
