Sarah L. Davis has been hailed by the Boston Globe as having a "clear and characterful soprano" and "assured musicianship". A native of Colorado, Sarah earned her Bachelor of Music at the University of Colorado and a Master of Music at Boston University and spent a year as an Intern with the Boston University Opera Institute, where she sang the role of Ilia in the Institute's production of Idomeneo and Helena in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream. She also appeared in BU productions of Cosi fan tutte, Die Fledermaus, Beatrice and Benedict and Le Nozze di Figaro, and scenes from La Traviata, Dialogues des Carmelites, Romeo et Juliette and Carmen. Other Boston credits include First Lady and First Spirit in Longwood Opera's production of The Magic Flute and Ensemble in Boston Lyric Opera's productions of Thais, La Traviata, Lucie de Lammermoor, Eugene Onegin, and Tosca as well as several concert appearances with ALEA III, Maine Grand Opera, New Music Ensemble Boston and the Saengerfest Chorus. In 2005, Sarah appeared as the soprano soloist in Consent to Gravity, a landmark musical and choreographic interpretation of the 'scores' of artist Frederick Sommer at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Pace/MacGill Gallery in New York City, the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI and the Tower Auditorium at MassArt in Boston.

Sarah is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she teaches private and class voice. With CU Opera, she has appeared as Lady Billows in Albert Herring and Mrs. Webb in Our Town, a production which won third prize at the National Opera Association Opera Production Competition. Ms. Davis is also a licensed Kindermusik instructor.
