Audrey Kaltenbach

Piano

Audrey Kaltenbach is an Oregon native and has been playing the piano for over 15 years. She graduated from Willamette University receiving her Bachelor of Music with honors in Piano Performance in 2015. She specializes in classical and contemporary music and her favorite part about piano is collaborating with friends.

Audrey has previously studied with Cindy Peterson-Peart and Dr. Anita King. She has participated in master classes adjudicated by Dr. Greg Anderson and Elizabeth Joy Roe, Dr. Alejandro Cremaschi, Dr. Larry Graham, Dr. Lei Wang, Dr. John Perry, Elizabeth Schumann, Marcia Hadjimarkos and Dr. Arnaldo Cohen. Her professional memberships includes Music Teachers National Association and Mu Phi Epsilon. The highlight of her musical career thus far was winning the 2015 Willamette University Concerto/Aria Competition and performing the first movement of Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor in concert.

While at Willamette she learned that performing is about expressing your passion, experiences and interpretations with the audience. Audrey strives to teach her students piano in a way that encourages creativity and musicality. She enjoys working one-on-one with students and getting to know their personalities, learning styles and musical goals. Her teaching philosophy is to inspire a lifetime of music appreciation in her students!
