Bring it to Broadway
Summer Intensive
August 1-6, 2010

Perform with Broadway Artists!

Join us for this week-long musical theatre camp, sponsored by Dana V. Music! Three Broadway artists, equally talented in acting, singing, and dancing, will guide and rehearse students through chosen scenes that will prepare all for a final production on the last evening of camp. Lawrence Street (Urinetown), Donna Lynne Champlin (Billy Elliot), and Nancy Anderson (Kiss Me, Kate) will help you rehearse scenes, songs, and dance numbers from several different musicals. This year students will have the rare opportunity to perform and collaborate in a scene with one or all of the Broadway Artists! Our young performers will also have the chance to team up with peers on duets and ensemble numbers, with the unique opportunity to receive guidance and feedback from these working professionals. Private coaching with DVM voice teachers will supplement the workshops and rehearsals. Elective classes and private lessons, for additional charge, are available following regular camp hours. This camp is intense but extremely fun and beneficial for any student who is searching for a unique and exciting arts experience!
