Theory Class at Dana V Music

Featured Class of the Month

Want to be well rounded musician? Music Theory combined with Eurhythmics is a way to bridge a very important gap in music education and performance. This course is taught in the same model as theory classes at the University level and will allow students to explore the structure of music through one 45-minute Theory Class, followed by a 45-minute Eurhythmics class.

Topics on phrasing, structure, intervals, ear training, rhythm, and basic keyboard application will be taught. Instrumentalists, singers, and composition students will find this class a perfect opportunity to advance to an All-State, competitive, or University level of musicianship.

We are all teachers who have been fortunate enough to take a journey through music and the arts and we are thrilled to share our exploration of music with you.Dana V Music (DVM) was created to provide positive, memorable opportunities for individuals to explore many aspects of music. DVM provides instruction in the form of private lessons and group classes to people of all ages. We believe that learning and experiencing music should be a positive progression of discovery. Music is important for the emotional, social, and intellectual growth of an individual.
